Do you hear from God?

That’s a question I struggle with and is always thinking about. If you are a child of God, He is always talking to you. Just like a natural father would talk to his child. My thing is "Do I hear from God?" I realize I hear sometimes, but I want it to be all the time. Maybe He is talking to me everyday but I just don’t realize it and I’m too ignorant to know that it is Him talking to me. I need to know what He is saying to me everyday. And I know I probably don’t really position myself to hear from Him. I don’t read my bible everyday and spend time in prayer everyday. Maybe if I do these things everyday I would better recognize if I’ve heard from God. I do realize it is important to know what God has to say to me. I want to know. I want His wisdom and I want discernment. I need the Holy Spirit walking and talking with me everyday. You know at times God lays things and people on my heart that I think about and pray about. I count that as hearing from God. God help me to listen for your still small voice even for the simple things in life.
